Jax Donuts was born from a simple conviction: a donut doesn't need a dozen toppings to be memorable. It needs good dough, the right fry, and a glaze that respects both.

We opened our doors on Chapman Avenue with a used fryer, a borrowed recipe notebook, and a stubborn refusal to cut corners. Every batch is hand-rolled, proofed slowly, and fried in small runs — so the last donut you buy tastes just as good as the first.

We roast our own coffee locally, source our dairy from regional farms, and change our seasonal menu four times a year. It's slower than the alternative. It tastes better for it.
